Fourth-largest Dutch municipality, City of Utrecht, worked with Cammio partner and assessment technology consultancy eelloo, to find 24 new trainees using a unique combination of game-based-assessment, capacity test, video pitch and a f*ckup assignment. When looking for the ‘civil servants 3.0’, eelloo applied its RH (Resource Human) vision where work is there for you rather than the other way around. This resulted in a selection process with a focus on personal talent and ambition.
The unique selection approach to look for diversity in unexpected talent, was noticed by the prestigious Recruitment Tech Awards and has reached the award finals.
This is actually the third year in a row that Cammio has been featured in the award finals, providing testament to how clients and partners like eelloo apply Cammio video recruitment in their winning recruitment cases. Public voting is open until November 8. If you like what you read, don’t be shy and cast your votes.
In a labour market where talent is scarce, there is an opportunity to go out of the box and attract unexpected talent. At the same time, employers need to innovate to provide an engaging process that is highly authentic. Applying the right recruitment technology can actually help to create a human-centric approach. Candidates have highly rated the process at the City of Utrecht, resulting in both 24 new hires, but also 665 new ambassadors of City of Utrecht as a contemporary employer. Because work is there for you and not the other way around. Applying video in the selection process in combination with state-of-the-art assessment tooling, helped focus on candidate potential and deliver a selection process with a premium candidate experience.
