In recognition of their joint recruitment case, video recruitment provider Cammio, European lingerie retailer Hunkemöller and ATS provider HROffice, have won the 2016 Digital Communication Award in the category ‘Employer Branding & Recruiting’. With over 700 submissions for the awards across a number of business-to-business and consumer sectors, Hunkemöller stands alongside other winners such as Unilever, Vodafone Group, Deutsche Bahn and Allianz.
Bringing together Europe’s leading communication professionals, the Digital Communication Awards honour outstanding achievements, professional campaigning and strategic thinking in online communications. This year, the awards reported over 700 entries, illustrating the high level of competition. The cases were judged by a jury of highly renowned communication experts on a variety of metrics including strategic approach, creativity, innovation, implementation and efficiency. Other nominees within the ‘Employer Branding & Recruiting’ category were Mars and ABB Switzerland.
The awarded recruitment case showcases an innovative approach to recruitment that was recognised by the expert jury as a best-practice for other organisations and hiring teams across Europe. Built on the modern technology of Cammio and HROffice, Hunkemöller developed an integrated process that allowed them to successfully execute their ‘Hire for Attitude, Train for Skills’ strategy. Placing video recruitment at the heart of their selection process, the employer was able to significantly improve their hiring process efficiency and reliability while providing their candidates with an engaging and on-brand experience. The company was able to demonstrate results such as longer average tenure, higher sales per employee and significantly improved hiring ratio, going from a hiring rate of 1 in 12 candidates to 1 in 5.
